Dock plugs into your home router and creates a secure connection to your network. Once connected, your devices talk through your home internet and work exactly like you're home even when you're not. When you connect, your traffic goes through your own home internet, not a random server. We use a WireGuard® based network connection, the same technology trusted by enterprise VPNS without asking you to configure anything. DockVPN is an open source project, so you can review how the system works end-to-end. It uses NetBird-based coordination to help devices discover each other and stay connected across complex networks.
