AI-powered documentation that monitors your codebase and heals itself when code changes. End doc drift forever. Get set up in just a couple of minutes. Let DocsDoc scan your repo for initial docs setup and then enjoy seamless, self-healing docs.
AI-powered documentation that monitors your codebase and heals itself when code changes. End doc rot forever.
DocsDoc monitors every commit, detects when docs fall out of sync, and patches them automatically so your team always ships with accurate, living documentation. Watches every commit and pull request. Before stale docs ship, DocsDoc rewrites them to match your latest code. Point DocsDoc at an undocumented module and receive a complete, accurate first draft in seconds, from code, context, and comments. When DocsDoc detects doc drift, it opens a pull request in your doc repo with the corrected content, ready for your review. Connect your target and doc repos in seconds via the DocsDoc GitHub App. No CLI, no tokens, no manual setup. Install the DocsDoc GitHub App or CLI in under 60 seconds.…from docsdoc.ca

Hello HN, I’m Andrew from docs.dev (https://docs.dev/), an AI powered docs assistant. With docs.dev you can generate your docs directly from your codebase, existing docs and other context sources. We don’t believe AI will replace technical writers—our goal is to make it easier for teams to get a solid first draft that they can review, edit, and improve. Think of it as a head start, not a finished product. More info on what we’ve built below but we wanted to release a quick, 1 minute, generate docs from your codebase tool. Try it out here:…

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
