Does Information Density Cause Time Dilation?

In plain words
This is an academic research project proposing the Information-Induced Time Dilation hypothesis, which suggests that high information entropy density may cause time dilation alongside mass-energy effects in spacetime. The researcher has published a paper on Zenodo and is seeking feedback on the experimental design, particularly regarding maintaining quantum coherence in Sr-87 optical lattice clocks to measure the proposed effect while filtering out environmental noise. The work targets physicists and quantum researchers interested in theoretical extensions to General Relativity.

Full Paper (Zenodo): https://zenodo.org/records/18027729 Help Needed: I am looking for feedback on the experimental setup. The main engineering challenge is maintaining GHZ coherence long enough to isolate the effect from environmental noise. If you have Hi HN. Standard General Relativity posits that time dilation is caused solely by mass-energy. But what happens when information entropy reaches a critical density? I have released Version 2.0 of my paper, proposing the Information-Induced Time Dilation (ITD) hypothesis. The Hypothesis: I propose that local information entropy (\Delta S_{info}) acts as a "computational load" on the spacetime metric. Just as mass curves spacetime, extreme information density might "lag" the local clock. The Experiment (Strictly Falsifiable): To test this, I designed a differential measurement using Sr-87 optical lattice clocks (Section 6): Compare: A system in a GHZ Entangled State (High Info) vs. a Product State (Low Info). Control: Mass and energy are kept identical. Prediction: If my derivation is correct (\alpha \neq 0), the entangled sector will show a frequency redshift relative to the control group. expertise in quantum metrology, I would deeply appreciate your technical insights. Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…

Community, All the HN belong to you. This is an archive of hacker news that fits in your browser. When I made HN Made of Primes I realized I could probably do this offline sqlite/wasm thing with the whole GBs of archive. The whole dataset. So I tried it, and this is it. Have Hacker News on your device. Go to this repo (https://github.com/DOSAYGO-STUDIO/HackerBook): you can download it. Big Query -> ETL -> npx serve docs - that's it. 20 years of HN arguments and beauty, can be yours forever. So they'll never die. Ever. It's the unkillable static archive of HN and it's…
