Downbar is a free macOS menu-bar app that watches 110+ public status pages — AI, cloud, dev tools, payments — and tells you the moment something goes down, and the moment it recovers.
Downbar watches 110+ public status pages — AI, cloud, developer tools, payments and more — and turns the menu-bar icon red the moment something breaks. Then green again when it recovers. No tabs, no dashboards, no noise. Your browser can't play embedded video. Download the walkthrough (MP4) . One three-bar glyph aggregates everything you watch into a single at-a-glance color — green, amber, red. Native notifications the moment a service degrades, and again when it's back. De-flap debouncing kills the noise. A curated catalog across AI, cloud, dev tools, payments and 10 more categories — or paste any status-page URL. Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
