What it does

Grass for instance, looks like a magic eye from the 90’s that doesn’t do anything when you cross your eyes. Ditto every other asset. Looks truly awful and has nothing on it’s main App Store competitor. However, the AI generated designs are really interesting. Not perfect either, but at least they look a lot better, and can spark genuine ideas. Keeping the app for a month to explore how to best use this mode. If this app fixes 2D/3D assets so that they don’t look like graphics from my early childhood, and marries it with AR, they will have something truly special. If the AI generated content could work in AR mode, again, this could be magic. Until then, I’m taking my subscription elsewhere.…from apps.apple.com

Hi HN! I made many small web games in the past with Unity or Phaser. But this time I wanted to make something completely on my own. So I coded a basic game framework in plain JavaScript, and used it to make Almost Pong. This was a really fun project that taught me a lot about JavaScript, and I plan to make more minimalist games with this framework. Interesting fact: Almost Pong doesn't load any assets, all sprites and sounds are generated with code. Happy to answer questions, and please let me know if you have any feedback on the game. Thanks!
