I got tired of paying $50/year to hear rain on my laptop. So I built Drift, a native macOS menu bar app with 99 ambient sounds, spatial audio with AirPods, and a built-in Pomodoro timer. No subscription. No account. No internet required. What makes it different: - Mix up to 4 sounds - Spatial audio with head tracking on AirPods - Built-in Pomodoro timer - Native SwiftUI. I built this because most Pomodoro timers felt too sterile. I wanted something that actually pulls you in with rain, brown noise, soft ASMR, and a few Middle Eastern tracks. Added animated backgrounds so it’s not just a blank screen. Runs fully in your browser. No accounts, no tracking, just open it and focus.
