DriftMonitor
Monitor API changes that silently break your app
DriftMonitor launched on April 13, 2026.
What it does
Monitor API responses, detect JSON schema drift, and catch breaking changes before they reach production.
DriftMonitor continuously compares API responses against a known baseline and surfaces structural changes that ordinary uptime checks can miss. DriftMonitor is currently API-first. The focus is narrow: detect meaningful contract changes, preserve the evidence, and alert engineering teams before downstream failures become incidents. HTTP 200 OK { "id": 123, "status": "paid", "amount": 49.90 } Current response HTTP 200 OK { "id": 123, "status": "paid", "amount": "49.90" } amount changed type number to string The endpoint is still up. The contract is not the same. Traditional availability monitoring tells you whether an endpoint responds. DriftMonitor focuses on a different question: is the…from driftmonitor.app

Tusk Drift – Open-source tool for automating API testsNov 2025 · github.com · ▲56Hey HN, I'm Marcel from Tusk. We’re launching Tusk Drift, an open source tool that generates a full API test suite by recording and replaying live traffic. How it works: 1. Records traces from live traffic (what gets captured) 2. Replays traces as API tests with mocked responses (how replay works) 3. Detects deviations between actual vs. expected output (what you get) Unlike traditional mocking libraries, which require you to manually emulate how dependencies behave, Tusk Drift automatically records what these dependencies respond with based on actual user behavior and maintains recordings…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
