Learn japanese with audio learning
What it does
Literally a dumb audio generator, to learn Japanese in your car. You choose the subject, press the button, and get an audio to play in your car. I used it myself as an immersion tool, and it did wonders, even though the AI voices are a little annoying.

The idea is actually quite simple. As a Japanese learner and a coder, I've always wanted there to be an open-source, 100% free for learning Japanese, similar to Monkeytype in the typing community. Unfortunately, pretty much all language learning apps are closed-sourced and paid these days, and the ones that are free have unfortunately been abandoned. But of course, just creating yet another language learning app was not enough - there has to be a unique selling point. I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into!
