EasyARXML

A modern tool to visualize automotive ARXML files with ease

EasyARXML launched on January 7, 2025 with 9 votes, #2,006 of 6,141 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.

What it does

A modern tool to visualize automotive ARXML files with ease. ARXML parser and a ARXML viewer with new look and feel.

Free online graphical ARXML viewer, also available as a VS Code extension. Open AUTOSAR .arxml files and see components, ports and connectors as a diagram — a simple ARXML GUI right in your browser. No upload, no sign-up. Your files never leave your computer.

Open any AUTOSAR .arxml file and instantly see its software components, ports and connections as an interactive diagram — 100% in your browser . No upload, no sign-up. In automotive, ARXML describes confidential vehicle software — it can’t be uploaded to a random web tool. EasyARXML solves that at the architecture level: the file is read entirely in your browser and never sent anywhere. Don’t take our word for it — open your browser’s Network tab and watch. Nothing uploads. A focused ARXML GUI — everything you need to read an ARXML file, with no heavyweight toolchain to install. Components, ports and connectors laid out as an interactive graph the moment you drop a file. Parsing happens in…from easyarxml.com

Simplex is an SDK that provides low-level functions you can use to create reliable web automations using code and natural language. Here's a quick video to show you how it works: https://www.loom.com/share/8d27d0f9e0f34c77a81b0ac770151c12 A couple weeks ago, we needed a way to automatically find 3D assets from the internet for one of our work contracts. We didn’t need an AI to choose all the steps for us autonomously — we knew generally what the flow to find items should be and just needed some intelligence to handle different webpage formats. Playwright couldn’t easily…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I realized that the PDF engines of modern desktop browsers (PDFium and PDF.js) support JavaScript with enough I/O primitives to make a basic game like Tetris. It was a bit tricky to find a union of features that work in both engines, but in the end it turns out that showing/hiding annotation "fields" works well to make monochrome pixels, and keyboard input can be achieved by typing in a text input box. All in all it's quite janky but a nice reminder of how general purpose PDF scripting can be. The linked PDF is all ASCII so you can just open it in a text editor, or have a look at…

I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!
