What it does
Elastic Drums is a fun, easy to use drum app with genuine sound, it works with drum synth modeling, so the the drum sounds are much more "elastic“ compared to the use of samples and what most drum apps do so far. If you're ever inspired on the go this is a must have tool that lets you compose wherever you are as long as your phone is with you.

Well, what a surprise - having bought several other drums apps, tried this one and it nails it! Full of features and the ability to craft sounds, Elastic Drums is presented in a straightforward way and doesn’t take long to learn, and once you do it really opens up the sonic palette. I was able to dial in a fantastic kick easily and am having a great time sculpting + modulating + saving sounds (no difficult effort, unlike some other apps!) Add to this the mixer, effects and jam sections as well as the further option to import samples and this is hands-down the best drum app on iOS. Brilliant! Eigendrum - Draw any shape and hear what it sounds like as a drumAug 2026 · baselashraf81.github.io · ▲243Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…
I made a generative online drum machine with ClojureScript2025 · dopeloop.ai · ▲202After two years of development, I'm super excited to release Beat Maker! This is my take on what I hope is the best free, web-based drum machine. My goal was to build something that was not only fun and easy to use for beginners but also powerful enough for serious producers. I did extensive research on existing drum machines, analyzed their UX, and tried to build something that adds something new. It's a nearly 100% client-side app, written in ClojureScript, and is a PWA so you can install it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Besides the standard grid editor, Beat Maker has…
Beats, a web-based drum machineJan 2026 · beats.lasagna.pizza · ▲160Hello all! I've been an avid fan of Pocket Operators by Teenage Engineering since I found out about them. I even own an EP-133 K.O. II today, which I love. A couple of months ago, Reddit user andiam03 shared a Google Sheet with some drum patterns [1]. I thought it was a very cool way to share and understand beats. During the weekend I coded a basic version of this app I am sharing today. I iterated over it in my free time, and yesterday I felt like I had a pretty good version to share with y'all. It's not meant to be a sequencer but rather a way to experiment with beats and basic sounds,…
