What it does
Our model embeds any file format with Llama embeddings, then applies UMAP for 3D dimensionality reduction, clusters with KNN, and allows querying through our model. We visualize with three.js and connect via FastAPI.

Llama2 Embeddings FastAPI Server2023 · github.com · ▲178Author here. I just wanted a quick and easy way to easily submit strings to a REST API and get back the embedding vectors in JSON using Llama2 and other similar LLMs, so I put this together over the past couple days. It's very quick and easy to set up and totally self-contained and self-hosted. You can easily add new models to it by simply adding the HuggingFace URL to the GGML format model weights. Two models are included by default, and these are automatically downloaded the first time it's run. It lets you not only submit text strings and get back the embeddings, but also to compare two…
Embedding Atlas2025 · apple.github.io · ▲150Hey HN, we're happy to release Mycelium, a JavaScript library for creating graph visualizations of machine learning models or any other directed acyclic graphs. Mycelium powers the graph viewer of the Talaria [0] a research model visualization and optimization system, which was used to optimize the efficiency of Apple Foundation Models [1]. Everything works entirely on the client-side in the browser — we provide a rudimentary ONNX loader out of the box, which you can try by dragging model files into our website. It is also simple to define loaders for your own model formats. The library was…
Swiss Army Llama2023 · github.com · ▲6This project originally started out with a focus on easily generating embeddings from Llama2 and other llama_cpp (gguf) models and storing them in a database, all exposed via a convenient REST api (hence why it was originally called the not-very-catchy name of "llama_embeddings_fastapi_service" when I submitted it a few weeks ago). But since then, I've added a lot more functionality: 1) New endpoint for generating text completions (including specifying custom grammars, like JSON). 2) Get all the embeddings for an entire document--can be any kind of document (plaintext, PDFs, doc/.docx,…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
