In plain words
Highlight is an error monitoring and session replay tool for web applications that helps developers identify and fix bugs by capturing detailed information about what went wrong. It combines error tracking with session replay capabilities, allowing developers to see exactly how users encountered issues. The tool is designed for development teams who want to move beyond guesswork when troubleshooting application problems.

Error monitoring is a crucial aspect of maintaining any application, and we wanted to build the best error monitoring experience possible. We reimagined how error monitoring in Highlight works to build the best error management solution for web applications.
LaunchDarkly helps teams safely manage code and AI agents in production with feature flags, progressive delivery, automated rollback, and runtime control.
The runtime control layer for AI development, de-risking releases, and enabling systems that heal and optimize themselves. Progressively release changes and roll back instantly based on real-time impact. Automatically keep agents on track, mitigating bad behavior and steering responses in real time. Test prompts and models in production and dynamically route traffic to the best option. Instantly remediate failing code and misbehaving agents (without human intervention). We’re open-sourcing our session replay tool2023 · github.com · ▲408Hey HN! We’re open-sourcing highlight.io (https://github.com/highlight/highlight), a session replay and error monitoring tool. Highlight.io gives you a high-precision video-like replay of what users are doing when an error or exception occurs in your web app, along with a full-fledged error monitoring experience (similar to bugsnag, rollbar, etc..). The main value prop of highlight.io is that we help you understand the full context surrounding an error and allow you to drill down to the code path that a user invoked (i.e user clicked button X, sent network request Y, and…

Highlight – Debug customer-facing issues with replay2022 · highlight.io · ▲21Hey HN, I’m Jay, a co-founder at Highlight and a YC alum; excited to share our replay-based debugging tool! TLDR; if you're using a tool like Fullstory for debugging, or you have trouble understanding the actual impact of your errors (e.g. in sentry), you should give us a try! We built Highlight because we constantly found ourselves flooded with errors and support tickets with very little context on why these issues occurred. To make matters worse, there was never an easy (and less annoying way) of reproducing these errors, other than by asking users to send screenshots, videos, etc.…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

This works suprisingly well. Just give it instructions like "make it winter" or "remove the cars" and the photo is altered. Here are some examples of transformations it can make: Golden gate bridge: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/brycedrennan/imaginAIry/ma... I integrated this new InstructPix2Pix model into imaginAIry (python library) so it's easy to use for python developers.

The project is called QueryStorm. It uses Roslyn to offer C# (and VB.NET) support in Excel, as an alternative to VBA. I've posted about it before, but a lot has changed since then so figured I'd share an update. The current version includes a host of new features, namely a C# debugger, support for NuGet packages, and the ability to publish Excel extensions to an "AppStore" (which is essentially a NuGet repository). The AppStore can be used by anyone with the (free) runtime component. Another great addition is the community license, which is a free license for individuals and small companies…

Hey HN! Some more info: I’m an NHS doctor and the founder of Pi-A (https://www.pi-a.io) which developed Lungy (https://www.lungy.app). Lungy is an app (iOS only for now) that responds to breathing in real-time and was designed to make breathing exercises more engaging and beneficial to do. It hopefully has many aspects of interest to the HN community – real-time fluid, cloth and soft body sims running on the phone’s GPU. My background is as a junior surgical trainee and I started building Lungy in 2020 during the first COVID lockdown in London. During COVID, there were…
