Experimental Support for Kotlin in Pulumi
Hello everyone :) Recently, my team (at VirtusLab) released an experimental support for Kotlin in Pulumi. This means you can use a convenient DSL to deploy stuff to your cloud (see examples in the repository). Getting started guide should be enough for you to use this in a toy project :). This is a proof of concept, so we would really love to hear your feedback before moving on. Please have a look at the "Giving feedback" section of the README.md.

A comment there mentioned that an electron app might be an interesting alternative, and here is the result of this last week's hackings. I've been specializing in UI for over a decade. Using code for UI is great but I always wished there was a more visual code to build apps and sites. So I went ahead and built it. I started working on this back in 2019, mostly as a design idea. Over the last month I made a big push to make it 100% usable and replace C# in all my personal projects. The project is called QueryStorm. It uses Roslyn to offer C# (and VB.NET) support in Excel, as an alternative to VBA. I've posted about it before, but a lot has changed since then so figured I'd share an update.
