I believe that chatbots are not it for customer support and that AI has better uses. "Explain This" allows the user to pick any part of web app and get it explained. The explanation is generated on the fly from the knowledge base; no need to have the content prepared; it will figure out the user's context and find the most fitting parts of the text we can then use to generate the content. When implemented it reduces the number of chatbot interactions. And also tells which parts of the product are not clear, so it can be then improved upon later. The setup takes less than 5 minutes. We use the same approach for Tooltips. You set them once, e.g. attach to all page titles and the content gets generated if requested.

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
