Faktor – The missing 2FA code autocomplete for Chrome
Hi everyone, Kenneth here. As a loyal Chrome user, I was frustrated that one of Apple's most loved features from Safari and iOS wasn't available in Chrome. So, I built Faktor—a tool that grabs 2FA security codes from your iPhone and autofills them in Google Chrome on your Mac. Faktor is a native macOS app with a small Chrome extension, and once you install Faktor its easy to forget that this functionality isn't native to Chrome. Enjoy!
In plain words
Faktor is a macOS app with a Chrome extension that automatically fills two-factor authentication codes from an iPhone into Chrome on Mac. It brings a Safari and iOS feature that was previously unavailable in Chrome. The tool consists of a native macOS application paired with a lightweight browser extension, designed to work seamlessly once installed so users can authenticate without manually copying codes.
