Favicon alert bubbles

A javascript library that allows easy manipulation of the favicon to include nice looking alert bubbles. This means that users can pin your site and still see when their attention is needed! It's been done before, but in my opinion not in a way aesthetically pleasing enough for production use. This library also falls back to the standard number in page title approach for browsers that do no support canvas / dynamic favicons. Thoughts welcome.

In plain words

Favicon alert bubbles is a JavaScript library that adds alert bubbles to a website's favicon, enabling users to see notifications even when the site is pinned to their browser. The library generates visually polished alert indicators using canvas technology, with automatic fallback to displaying numbers in the page title for browsers lacking canvas support. It's designed for web developers who want to notify users of important updates without requiring them to actively visit the page.
