Figscreen

Capture the web, polish in the editor, ship effortlessly.

What it does

Figscreen makes it ridiculously easy to capture, annotate, and organize anything you see on the web — and send it directly to Figma. Built for designers, researchers, and product teams, Figscreen helps you turn website screenshots into useful design references in seconds. - Capture full pages or specific areas - Annotate with arrows, highlights, text, shapes & more - Blur sensitive information - Send captures directly to Figma - Save time on research and competitor analysis That’s Figscreen.

Figscreen is the screenshot Chrome extension for designers — capture any website, annotate with highlights and blur, and ship to Figma. Create website mockups from real sites with one click. Bulk URL import via Figma plugin.

Highlights, blur, arrows, layers—and Copy to Figma when your file needs the frame. Capture, annotate, and ship—without breaking your flow. Activate with your app key or Google and tie the popup to your Figscreen credits. One balance powers capture and your community plugin. Choose how much of the page to grab in seconds. Area capture uses a fast region select—built for shipping screenshots, not fighting the browser. Jump back to recent captures or copy URLs from a simple list—without hunting through folders. See what’s active, rotate keys, sign out, or report an issue—without leaving the popup. Problems on the left converge through Figscreen, then ship as outcomes on the right — same layout…from figscreen.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
