FilmyTrain
A unique Bollywood Movie guessing game with AI backdrops
What it does
Most movie quiz games test memory. FilmyTrain tests visual intuition. Instead of clips, stills, or titles, FilmyTrain transforms Bollywood films into cinematic visual puzzles. Each question features an AI-generated poster where the movie name is never shown not hidden, stylized, or hinted at in any form. Players identify the film through storytelling cues: mood, era, setting, costumes, symbolism, and cultural context. It is not trivia but recognizing a movie from a fleeting, real-world glimpse.

While i was playing dark stories i got the idea of a game that an AI would think of a movie and the user would have to ask questions. The trick is that the AI only answers yes or no and the user has to guess the movie name, asking things like "is the movie a comedy" or "it's about a family trip" So that is it, hope you enjoy the game. It's a fun, challenging game to play with your friends or by yourself. Let me know what you think, and I'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions on how to make it even better!

Backstory: I'm a product designer who's mostly worked for startups and now big tech, and I haven't really touched html/css for nearly a decade. I've worked closely with engineers my entire career but never really rolled the sleeves up and dived into a scripting language. I'd seen some engineers playing around with CodeGPT over a year ago when it launched–we huddled around a screen and tried to decide how quickly our jobs would be replaced by this new technology. At the time, we weren’t in any real danger, but I caught a glimpse of how well it understood prompts and stubbed out large…

Hi Hacker News, I'm excited to share a project I've been passionately working on in my spare time: AI Movie Finder (https://www.aimoviefinder.com). The idea was born out of a simple, yet frequent, frustration: having a movie on the tip of my tongue but being unable to recall the title. All I could remember were fragments – a specific scene, a snippet of dialogue, the general plot, or even just the mood it evoked. Traditional search engines often fell short with these kinds of abstract queries. So, I decided to build a solution. AI Movie Finder uses a natural language processing…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
