What it does
Flex.2-preview is the open-source (Apache 2.0) 8B text-to-image diffusion model. Features built-in universal control (pose, line, depth) and inpainting. Fine-tunable.
We’re on a journey to advance and democratize artificial intelligence through open source and open science.
Open Source 8B parameter Text to Image Diffusion Model with universal control and inpainting support built in. Early access preview release. The next version of Flex.1-alpha Flex.2 is currently the most flexable text to image diffusion model released, making it truely live up to its name. It has taken a lot to get here: Flux.1 Schnell -> OpenFlux.1 -> Flex.1-alpha -> Flex.2-preview . Numerous improvements have been made with every step, but Flex.2 is the biggest step so far, and best of all, it was just trained by a some guy who relies 100% on community support to make a living and fund the outrageous compute cost needed to keep training models like this. Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
