Hi community! I am glad to introduce to you my latest project! What? Flintable is a playground for experimenting lint rules, focusing on fixable layout and suggestions rules. I initially focused on ESLint, the most popular JavaScript linter. Flintable allows adding your code and regularly testing it with individual rules or custom configurations, composing your own configuration file. How? I developed Flintable using the PHP Laravel framework for the server side and the Vue framework linking them with Inertia JS, accompanied by Tailwind CSS for the client side. Laravel Horizon manages the…

Flint – Write code your way while ensuring remote consistency2025 · github.com · ▲13I just released my biggest project yet: Flint, a language-agnostic Git wrapper that lets developers code using their own formatting preferences locally, while automatically enforcing the project's style on push. No more fighting over tabs vs spaces or dealing with noisy diffs. Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there. I really recommend going through the list, it made my day. [0] "Could you share your personal blog…
