Another issue I had with the default app was the number of taps until finding a contact, so I tried to minimize that too using various approaches: - put most contacted people on the main screen (app also proposes new tiles based on number of interactions) - group contacts (work, family, friends, etc.) then put a group tile on the main screen - search the contact list using T9 (3-4…

In plain words

Fliple is an iOS contacts app replacement designed to prioritize contact photos and reduce the number of taps needed to reach someone. It displays frequently contacted people as tiles on the home screen, organizes contacts into groups like work and family, and allows searching via T9 keypad input. Action tiles enable quick communication through phone calls, SMS, or email with frequently contacted people. The app uses interaction data to suggest new tiles automatically.

Hey HN, I built a personal CRM that stores everything in the native iPhone Contacts app instead of another database. The goal was to make the Contacts app I’ve used for years actually useful. I’d love to hear what you think. Especially whether you prefer extending native apps over adopting entirely new tools. Since this is one of the first releases, i would love to get any feedback you have! Alex
