What it does

ForgeTerm lets you open an entire workspace with one click — each project gets its own themed window with pre-configured terminal sessions, automatically tiled across your screen. Define sessions (dev server, tests, shell) that auto-launch per project. Import from VS Code Project Manager. Config travels with your repo viaforgeterm.json. MIT licensed, open source.

  Every single day of my life since I started programming back in 2020 I open my projects through the terminal/ghostty. "cd path" + "code .". Until today I don't even know how to open vscode first then open a project from there.
