What it does
Forthwith is a cross-platform localization CLI that finds issues before users do. Run a free, local check—no account, upload, or configuration—to catch missing keys, malformed files, placeholder mismatches, plural gaps, duplicates, and untranslated values. When you’re ready, Forthwith translates only new or changed strings, validates framework-specific structure, and writes reviewable diffs for iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native, React, Phoenix, and go-i18n.
Install the CLI and run forthwith check. It scans your localization files on your machine, finds concrete issues, and tells you exactly where to look—free, with no account or configuration required. Your files stay local. Sign in only when you choose a paid fix or translation. Forthwith check gives you a complete, local report first. You decide whether to fix findings yourself, let Forthwith repair supported issues, or use the full translation workflow. The check runs on your machine. I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers.
