I built Forward My Inbox (https://forwardmyinbox.com) as a replacement: connects to your IMAP inbox and forwards new emails to Gmail while preserving threading, reply-to, and labels—no POP/Gmailify needed. Gmail is removing POP3 and Gmailify support in just 4 days (31st January 2026), breaking how many people keep all their email in one Gmail inbox! ForwardMyInbox is a simple, secure replacement. Connect any IMAP email account (work, school, or custom domain) and we automatically fetch and forward new messages to Gmail. Threads are preserved, replies work normally, and we don’t store your emails. Built for people who just want one inbox - without Gmail breaking it.

Google is ending Gmail POP3 and has discontinued Gmailify, removing the “Check mail from other accounts” feature. This means Gmail can no longer fetch emails from external inboxes using POP3. If you used Gmail POP3 or Gmailify to check emails from another account in Gmail, that workflow no longer works. ForwardMyInbox replaces Gmail POP3 and Gmailify by forwarding emails from other accounts directly into Gmail. Instead of Gmail pulling emails via POP3, ForwardMyInbox securely forwards new emails straight into your Gmail inbox. If Gmail POP3 or Gmailify was how you checked other email accounts in Gmail, ForwardMyInbox lets you keep the same experience — withoutfrom forwardmyinbox.com
