Framekind

Turn ideas into applications.

What it does

KindFrame turns a plain-language idea into a real app — not a pretty mock that dies in Figma. Prompt working Flutter codebase (web + iOS + Android, one project) Visual editor: drag, round corners, pick colors — construction-set energy Agent harness writes, runs, and fixes the boring engineering Ship the same product to three platforms without three rewrites Live preview: frame-kind.com · iOS: apps.apple.com/app/id6782846275

Framekind turns a product idea into a buildable Flutter project in one visual AI studio.

Describe the product. Framekind turns intent into screens, models, API contracts, and readable Flutter code inside one continuous studio. Framekind does not hide the build behind an “AI magic” spinner. You see the brief, draft, generation state, source, API room, and export decision. Start rough. Capture audience, jobs, references, constraints, and the product mood before code. Move between visual canvas, Flutter source, API contracts, and feedback without resetting context. Keep generation status, diffs, build history, and ownership visible before a bundle leaves the studio. One cabinet for projects. One editor for preview, layers, style, source, APIs, feedback, and export. One copilot…from frame-kind.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
