Genlook AI Try-On for Shopify
I built this to bring virtual try-on to Shopify stores. The backend wraps Google's new VTO model, so the "AI" part was solved. The real challenge was the UX: building a zero-friction experience for shoppers to maximize conversion. I’ve run a some of A/B tests on the widget design and copy, and learned not to trust my intuition, multiple times, the "best" variant wasn't the one I expected. It's hard to gather strict numbers without large-scale data yet, but early estimates show that customers who engage with the try-on are ~25% more likely to buy. Live demo here:…

Reduce returns and let customers shop with confidence using realistic generative AI.
Add AI virtual try-ons to your online store. Let customers see how products look on them before buying. Proven to increase conversion by 35% and reduce returns.
Every shopper becomes the model. One photo, their own body, your whole catalog, in under 10 seconds. One install, no theme code. Shoppers tap "See it on you" under add-to-cart and see the garment on their own body. Matches your storefront and speaks your store's language out of the box. Shopper photos auto-delete after 7 days and are never used for training. White-label: the fitting room carries your logo, not Genlook's. Dresses, outerwear, tailoring, knits, denim. Same face, same body, same pose. Only the garment changes. Every try-on is tracked from widget open to order. See the conversion lift, spot the garments shoppers love, and sync captured emails to Shopify and Klaviyo. Shoppers…from genlook.app

When I made HN Made of Primes I realized I could probably do this offline sqlite/wasm thing with the whole GBs of archive. The whole dataset. So I tried it, and this is it. Have Hacker News on your device. Go to this repo (https://github.com/DOSAYGO-STUDIO/HackerBook): you can download it. Big Query -> ETL -> npx serve docs - that's it. 20 years of HN arguments and beauty, can be yours forever. So they'll never die. Ever. It's the unkillable static archive of HN and it's…
