Ghostbar

What it does

Ghostbar is a macOS menu bar AI client invisible to screen sharing. Zoom, Teams, Meet, OBS, QuickTime — nobody sees it but you. Uses NSWindow.sharingType =none to remove the window from macOS's compositor before any recorder touches it. What makes it different: → Native Swift — ~5MB vs 150-500MB Electron alternatives → Ollama, OpenAI, Claude, OpenRouter, LM Studio, llama.cpp → On-device voice input via Whisper → Zero telemetry, no account, MIT license, free forever
