What it does
Stop wasting hours writing READMEs and mapping messy architecture manually. GhostDoc is an autonomous engine built for fast-shipping developers. Paste your GitHub URL, and our zero-retention ephemeral nodes map your entire codebase, calculate complexity index, and route a production-grade documentation payload + DevSecOps audit straight to your inbox in 2 minutes. Ship your code. We write the docs. Then we vanish. Fully operational.

GhostBox – Borrow a disposable little machine from the Global Free TierMay 2026 · ghost.charity · ▲126I built this because I was always creating machines on GH actions to test builds on different OS, and I wanted a tight CLI that could do it. I always saw Actions as this great resources and ephemeral machines you could do dev work in just were a natural way for me to work, so this grew out of that workflow. I didn't expect it to blow up, so it wasn't 100% finished when I posted it. But it should stabilize pretty quickly. Happy to know what you think and talk about it.

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
