What it does
Core feature: Share long texts or secrets and whatever (files and images included) as short links. (Markdown supported) The data is actually private and if you check the encryptions everything is done on the client side(AES-GCM encryption), So, your data will never to leak anyone, not even to our servers. Feel free to check it out as it's all free and provide me with some feedback and on what features i can add over it. I would love to find people who can improve what I have here,
Client-side encryption, ciphertext on the server, and passcodes our API never receives.
This is what passcode-protected notes do. If you skip the passcode, the server stores plain text until expiry or burn—see Create a note for that flow. The note id in the URL lets the browser fetch encrypted data from our API. The passcode stays out of that request entirely—it is entered on the note page (or shared verbally), and decryption runs locally. 1. GET /api/notes/{id} → JSON with ciphertext body (+ attachment metadata) 2. Recipient enters passcode on the page → stays in the browser (not sent as “decrypt me” to us) 3.
