GhostPrompter
Look natural on camera. Stay confident while presenting.
What it does
GhostPrompter helps you look natural on camera and stay confident while presenting by letting you read your script without losing eye contact. Its invisible click-through overlay stays above your screen without blocking clicks, typing, or presentations, while remaining invisible in screen recordings. Voice-activated scrolling follows your speaking pace, and customizable fonts, transparency, speed, hotkeys, and positioning create a distraction-free teleprompter experience for Windows and macOS.
Look natural on camera and stay confident during presentations. Desktop teleprompter for Windows & Mac with click-through overlay and voice scrolling.
GhostPrompter is the desktop teleprompter built for Windows and Mac. Look natural on camera and stay confident during presentations while reading your script with a click-through overlay and optional voice-activated scrolling. By the time you’re done, the content is fine, but the delivery feels off. GhostPrompter sits on top of your screen as a transparent desktop teleprompter with a seamless Click-Through Overlay — completely out of your way. The overlay floats above everything — visible to you, transparent to everything else. Read while you work. Nothing interrupts Every button, editor, and tab behind the overlay responds exactly as it should. No blocked inputs. No workarounds No pausing.…from ghost-prompter.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
