What it does

GitFig is a Figma plugin that enables bi-directional sync between Figma and GitHub. It brings version control workflows to your design system, allowing you to manage design tokens, variables, styles, and every mode in your repos as JSON, with branches, commits and pull requests from inside Figma.

If the branch moved, GitFig asks before it overwrites. The branch has 2 new commits you have not pulled. Pushing may overwrite them. Create a branch, commit, and open the pull request without leaving the file. Mode-keyed files carry light and dark together. The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano.
