GitReviewed
Hi HN, I’m Valentin, a developer who’s found code reviews to be a slow process, especially after context switching or juggling different projects and languages. Even reviewing my own code can be tough when I’ve lost the thread or just need a fresh perspective. Over the past few weekends, I built GitReviewed to make PR reviews faster, smarter, and genuinely useful for real teams. What it does: - Reviews any GitHub or GitLab pull/merge request with AI-powered comments, spotting security issues, code patterns, typos, and more - Posts comments as you (not a bot), so feedback fits naturally…
GitReviewed launched on June 2, 2025 with 18 votes, #856 of 7,999 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
Instantly review GitHub, GitLab PRs with AI-powered feedback that posts comments as you, not a bot
Effortless, AI-powered code review for your pull requests. Get instant feedback on bugs, anti-patterns, and security issues.
AI reads your pull request, drafts review comments, and waits for your call. Accept, edit, or reject, then post under your name in one click. This swaps jwt.verify for jwt.decode, which reads the payload without checking the signature. A forged token would pass. Was that intentional? Consider pulling the header parsing into parseAuthHeader() so the other routes can reuse it. You don't need fewer reviews. You need a faster way to do them well. Paste a PR link. Get AI-drafted comments. Decide what gets posted. Paste a PR link. AI analyzes every file and drafts inline comments on bugs, anti-patterns, and security issues. Results in seconds, not hours. Review each AI suggestion. Keep what's…from gitreviewed.com

git-lrcFeb 2026 · hexmos.com · ▲300Hi HN, I'm the author of git-lrc, would appreciate some feedback from the community Last year my team started using AI coding tools more heavily, and we found ourselves generating tons of code, but spending less time looking at the stuff that's been generated. We felt like we were losing a bit of grip/understanding of what we were building. Regressions occasionally slipped through. Sometimes changes made it all the way to production only to be reverted later. We tried several AI code review tools, but most operate at PR time. That felt too late. I wanted review to happen while the…

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
