What it does

GraphGPU is a hardware-accelerated graph visualization library. Rendering is powered entirely by WebGPU — nodes, edges, selection halos, and labels all go through GPU pipelines. The physics simulation (force-directed layout) runs on either CPU or GPU compute shaders, with a model featuring gravitational repulsion, Hooke's law springs, central gravity, and proper velocity integration. WebGPU is supported in Chrome 113+, Edge 113+, and Firefox Nightly. Safari has experimental support behind a flag. GraphGPU shows a fallback message on unsupportedfrom github.com

  • ChartGPU – WebGPU-powered charting library (1M points at 60fps)Jan 2026 · github.com · ▲670

Creator here. I built ChartGPU because I kept hitting the same wall: charting libraries that claim to be "fast" but choke past 100K data points. The core insight: Canvas2D is fundamentally CPU-bound. Even WebGL chart libraries still do most computation on the CPU. So I moved everything to the GPU via WebGPU: - LTTB downsampling runs as a compute shader - Hit-testing for tooltips/hover is GPU-accelerated - Rendering uses instanced draws (one draw call per series) The result: 1M points at 60fps with smooth zoom/pan. I am excited to announce the launch of my e-book on Graphics/WebGPU programming! This project has consumed much of my spare time, during which I developed various tools to facilitate the publishing process, including a code playground and a static site generator that can reference sample codes. However, I'm feeling burnt out and ready to call it finished, even though it may not feel completely done. Avoiding another abandoned side project has been my primary motivation in reaching this point.

  • A gallery of graphs built with React and D3.js2023 · react-graph-gallery.com · ▲297

Many JS libraries exist to build graphs on the web (Vega, chartJS, Plotly...). They allow to make charts quickly. But you lose flexibility: you're limited by the options they offer. I just created a gallery with hundreds of graphs made with d3.js and React. - Examples are split by graph types - They all come with explanation and code sandboxes - Gradual complexity to ease the learning curve It took me ages to create this project! Feedback welcome!
