Graspr
Read what matters. On your terms.
What it does
Free Chrome extension & mobile-friendly web app: Graspr surfaces what people actually said about the page and topic you’re reading across Hacker News, Reddit, X, GitHub, and Bluesky, plus related articles and videos. Read threads, articles, and videos in Graspr’s built-in reader without leaving the page. Highlight, take notes, sync everything to your web library or Notion, and get AI-curated digests on the topics you follow.
Free Chrome extension that finds what people said about any page — Hacker News, Reddit, X, GitHub — plus videos, articles and a clean reader with highlights.
Graspr adds a sidebar that surfaces the best discussions, videos, and articles about whatever you're reading — without ever leaving the page. Every article is missing half the story — the debate, the counter-arguments, the people who already went deep. Graspr brings that context to you. No more pasting titles into Reddit, HN and Google. The relevant threads, videos and articles come to you — in one sidebar. See counter-arguments and expert takes beside any claim, so you judge what you read instead of taking it at face value. Highlight insights and sync them to Notion or Readwise, so the good stuff compounds instead of scrolling away. Hover the Graspr icon, hit Read , and the page becomes a…from graspr.app

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
