Gridwolf
Passive ICS/SCADA Network Discovery & Vuln Intelligence
What it does
Gridwolf is a fully functional passive ICS/SCADA network discovery and security assessment platform. It analyzes captured network traffic (PCAP files) to automatically identify industrial devices, map communication patterns, detect protocol anomalies, perform C2/beacon detection, match CVEs, and generate professional assessment reports — without transmitting a single packet to the monitored network.

Hi all, I'm excited to announce Stratoshark, a sibling application to Wireshark that lets you capture and analyze process activity (system calls) and log messages in the same way that Wireshark lets you capture and analyze network packets. If you would like to try it out you can download installers for Windows and macOS and source code for all platforms at https://stratoshark.org. AMA: I'm the goofball whose name is at the top of the "About" box in both applications, and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.
- IBI built a real-time OSINT dashboard pulling 15 live global feedsMar 2026 · github.com · ▲312
Sup HN, So I got tired of bouncing between Flightradar, MarineTraffic, and Twitter every time something kicked off globally, so I wrote a dashboard to aggregate it all locally. It’s called Shadowbroker. I’ll admit I leaned way too hard into the "movie hacker" aesthetic for the UI, but the actual pipeline underneath is real. It pulls commercial/military ADS-B, the AIS WebSocket stream (about 25,000+ ships), N2YO satellite telemetry, and GDELT conflict data into a single MapLibre instance. Getting this to run without melting my browser was the hardest part. I'm running this on a laptop…
- SOServiceRadar – open-source Network Observability PlatformOct 2025 · github.com · ▲61
ServiceRadar is an open-source platform for distributed, secure network management and observability, scaling to 100k+ devices. Born from frustration with complex traditional NMS tools like Zabbix, it bridges legacy (SNMP/syslog) and modern (gNMI, OTLP) protocols for cloud-native environments. We built ServiceRadar to simplify monitoring hybrid telecom networks, evolving it into a Kubernetes-native solution with Helm and Docker support. It uses mTLS with SPIFFE/SPIRE, NATS JetStream for event streaming (90M+ EPS), and SRQL for intuitive queries. Integrated with OpenTelemetry,…

Jibril is a runtime security monitoring and enforcement tool. It introduces a new architecture designed to overcome limitations of previous-generation runtime security tooling and EDRs, which were primarily built for traditional endpoints and long-running containerized workloads. Jibril introduces an event-less architecture leveraging eBPF to maintain lightweight state maps directly within the kernel. Instead of buffering events, it queries kernel state directly, enabling real-time detection and enforcement with minimal overhead. This approach is especially effective for protecting ephemeral…

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
