We use a single codebase to build natively to both Linux, macOS and Windows. See Installation guide to get started. Halloy is free and open source. You can find the source code as well as report issues and feature requests on GitHub . Halloy is configured through a config.toml file. From servers and notifications to themes, fonts, panes, and keyboard shortcuts, there are many options available to tune Halloy to your liking. See Configuration to get started.   I started working on Halloy back in 2022, with the goal of giving something back to the community I’ve been a part of for the past two decades. I wanted to create a modern, multi-platform IRC client written in Rust. Three years later, I’ve made new friends who have become core contributors, and there are now over 200 people idling in our #halloy channel on Libera. My hope is that this client will outlive me and that IRC will live on.

  I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there.
