What it does
Halo is a Dynamic Island for Mac, with or without a notch, on the top, left or right edge. On Apple silicon your brightness keys set an external monitor's real backlight over DDC/CI, plus contrast and input. Now Playing, timers, shelf, clipboard. No account.
Halo is a Dynamic Island for macOS, in your MacBook
A Dynamic Island for your Mac. Halo turns the notch — or the top of any screen without one — into a live island for music, volume, brightness, timers, files and more. Every one of them waits out of sight until something happens. Spotify, Music, YouTube in any browser. Artwork, scrubber and controls, right where you look. Click the pause. The keys you already press, with a HUD that stays out of your way. Presets or any hours, minutes and seconds. A chime you'll actually hear. Drop files on the island. Drag them out later, or AirDrop them. Your last 30 copies — text, links, images, files. One click to copy again. Plug in and the island tells you where you stand. Then it gets out of the way.…from halo-mac.vercel.app

A lot of tools exist, but I wanted something calm + polished that feels native on Mac (not another file manager). with Resurf…
