Heart Restarted

Heart Restarted: A free community for cardiac survivors

Heart Restarted launched on January 2, 2026 with 2 votes, #6,591 of 14,584 launches that month.

What it does

I survived a massive heart attack at 50. Physically I recovered, but the lingering anxiety, PTSD, and unanswered questions were overwhelming. I built Heart Restarted: a free web/mobile app where cardiac survivors connect, share stories, ask practical questions, swap tips, and prep for doctor visits. No ads or paywalls, just real peer support. It's brand new. I'd love feedback: • What features would help most? • What's missing for recovery? • Usability thoughts? Join us at heartrestarted.com

A comprehensive support platform for cardiac arrest survivors, their caregivers, and supporters. Track wellness, connect with others, and navigate recovery together.

I kept forgetting names and contacts… so I built Cardio. So I built Cardio: a digital card/profile you can share with just a QR code or link. It saves directly into your contact, so no more “Who was this again?” moments. - Built with Next.js, Adobe, and Stripe - Uses AI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT) to accelerate development - No app install needed: just tap, scan, or share I’m a solo builder from a non-dev background, and this is my first product. I launched it 10 days ago and made my first sales. Would love any feedback! performance, UI clarity, growth ideas or anything. Thanks HN!

I hope you are doing better today than yesterday. (TLDR in the comments; or enjoy my story :) ) Why: About 11 months ago, I launched my app for the first time on Reddit's r/lonely because I had previously experienced loneliness myself during grad school. I wanted to reach out to people going through similar experiences by providing them with what would’ve helped me in the past. I felt this was an important mission for me and a much more rewarding one than my day job that I quit my job to work on the app full-time. It was necessary because I did not come from a programming background. I…

I have never smoked myself, but I know a lot of people that smoke and want to stop. This is for them. While researching the topic on various peer reviewed papers I was impressed how many parts of the body heal when a person quits smoking. It’s impressive that the body starts healing in the first 20minutes! This is why the app features a ‘heart avatar’ that heals with time reflecting the person’s journey. Something which i think is very important if i had to use an app like this is privacy. This is why I kept all the data in a local database inside the app and never share or track any data.…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
