You can log your daily miles/km, track your mood, write a trail journal, see your projected end date and bunch of other stuff. Works all offline in airplane mode too so works on trail and doesn't drain your battery. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hi HN! This is a trail companion web app (think AllTrails) I hacked together in a couple weeks time. I was inspired to create this project while training for an extended backpacking trip. My motivation was to create a UI tailored exactly to my liking, and to be able to track my progress along the trail without draining my battery. I also wanted to experiment with PWA technologies. Ambulate was created because planning hiking trips using spreadsheets and various map solutions got chaotic. I wanted an app to manage and map multi day trip itineraries in the outdoors/backcountry.
