Himetrica
Hey HN, I’m a solo dev. Over the last few months I’ve been building Himetrica, an analytics tool focused specifically on SaaS products. The reason I started: I run another SaaS, and answering simple questions was surprisingly painful: How many trials converted to paid this month? Which pages actually drive paid conversions? Where do high-churn users come from? What features do paying users actually use? To answer that, I had to stitch together: - GA4 for traffic - Stripe for revenue - Spreadsheets to connect everything It felt wrong. So I decided to build something that connects product…

What it does
Don't just see a traffic spike, see who came, where from, and what they did. Analytics that let you understand the story, not just the chart.
See who arrives, what they do, and who is ready to pay, from the first click to MRR.
You launch, you spike, you sit there hammering F5. The free tier fills up and MRR won't move. Real stories from people who traded hunches for clarity. Same product, different number. GA4, Plausible and the rest were designed for marketing teams: visits, bounce, sessions. Brochure-site metrics. But you don't have a site, you have a product, and a product is measured by people who activate and people who pay. Every time it's the same scene: you open the dashboard and close it in ten seconds, because that screen never answers what you came to ask. Instead of a number that climbs and disappears, each signup becomes a timeline: where they came from, every screen they opened, where they stopped.…from himetrica.com

We built PriceLevel to find out what companies pay for SaaS2024 · pricelevel.com · ▲532Hey HN! Christine and Steven here. As a PM and engineer, we’ve both evaluated and purchased a lot of software. One of the biggest frustrations was figuring out how much it would cost us without having to go through the sales process. When we did have a quote, we had no idea if we were getting a good deal or ripped off. We built a site where you can see what other companies are actually paying for SaaS and enterprise software. Buyers contribute prices via quotes, pricing proposals, and other documentation to ensure quality. We unlocked Talkdesk for Show HN users so that you can use the…

I built the tool I wished existed for moving Stripe between countries2025 · stripemove.com · ▲109In late 2024, I had to set up a new Stripe account because I incorporated my company in a different country. Turns out it's not as simple as just changing the country in a dropdown, you have to start from scratch. I had hundreds of users and using Stripe's dashboard to add all of the products, prices, coupons and subscriptions manually would take ages. I contacted a couple of services that help with this kind of migration, but their quotes were way over my budget. My next option was to use Stripe's API, which is very powerful but also very complicated. I'm a designer who can code, but I…
- IBI built a tool to talk to Stripe data2024 · dataraccoon.io · ▲7
Hey HN! I am a developer working on a startup doing lots of payment integration stuff with payment providers like Stripe. I built a tool to talk to Stripe data, just so that I can answer questions from our team. I turned that into analytics tool (sort of) to answer questions about MRR, churn, revenue etc. (https://www.dataraccoon.io/). There is a two minute demo video on the page if you want to see how it works, or you can use free trial without needing a credit card. I was wondering if you would use such a tool directly in Slack or prefer receiving messages about your metrics…
Mochi AnalyticsJul 2026 · mochianalytics.com · ▲17Hey everyone, I wanted to see if I could build something like DataFa.st myself, so I made MochiAnalytics. I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out. It’s got all the bells and whistles a small team or solo founder would need to track campaigns and to see which channel is driving revenue. It’s a cheaper analytics tool for side projects, indie hackers, and small apps. I honestly wish I could make it free, but it still needs servers, a database, and a backend to keep event ingestion running 24/7, so there are real costs behind it. I’m still working on it and will keep adding more features…
