HiZip

What it does

HiZip is a native macOS archive tool that lets you browse, preview, extract, and create archives with a Finder-like workflow. Open ZIP, 7z, RAR, TAR, GZ, BZ2, and XZ files without extracting everything first. Preview files with Quick Look, extract only what you need, or drag files directly out. Create archives with format and compression controls, AES-256 ZIP encryption, and filters forDS_Store, __MACOSX, Thumbs.db,git,svn, and hidden files. Available for macOS 14+.

  I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it.
