Hold90
Ride out a nicotine craving in 90 seconds
What it does
Hold90 is a private quit-smoking app for the 90 seconds a craving actually peaks. Tap Hold 90, breathe or play a calm hand game, and ride the wave. A slip is a journal entry - the smoke-free clock never resets. No account, no feed. Your data stays on this device. Free to start. Lifetime is $1.99 once. No account required. Install as an app.
Hold90 helps you ride out a craving in 90 seconds. Local-only quit tracker with breathing games, savings, and health milestones. No account required. Install as an app.
Urges spike, then fall. Hold90 is a timer and a set of calm games for that window. A slip is a journal entry, not a reset. The smoke-free clock keeps running. No account. Progress lives on this device. You can install it like an app. Breathe, clear smoke, pop lights, squeeze, trace, ripple — switch anytime. The 90 seconds never pause. Your journal stays on the device. Clearing site data erases it — same as the native app. Add Hold90 to your home screen. The installed app opens straight into the tracker, not this page. Hold90 stores your quit date, savings, holds, and slips in this browser. We identify this device with an anonymous ID so you can pay later without creating an account. Start…from hold90.com

Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…

I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
