Last weekend we had a chance to fine-tune the performance of a website that we started over... Tagged with react, webdev, performance, javascript.
How we decreased website loading time by 24% with 3 improvements launched on November 30, 2019 with 8 votes, #921 of 3,203 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 6 years on.

Performance of SwissDevJobs.ch matters for 2 reasons: : Good user experience - which means both time to load (becoming interactive), and feeling of snappiness while using the website. SEO - our traffic relies heavily on Google Search and, you probably know, that Google favors websites with good performance (they even introduced the speed report in Search Console).
