Hyphenate.dev: illustration of TeX's hyphenation algorithm
As part of the Texcraft project I've been re-implementing Donald Knuth's TeX in a modular way. One of the goals of Texcraft is to be able to use these modular pieces in different contexts. hyphenate.dev is a website that uses my re-implementation of TeX's hyphenation algorithm to visually illustrate how the algorithm chooses hyphens.

What it does
The Liang hyphenation algorithm was developed in the 1980s for the TeX typesetting system. hyphenate.dev uses a new implementation of the algorithm with TeX's American English patterns file and gives the same result asfrom hyphenate.dev

I threw together a quick Wordle clone in an evening to see what it would look like using this language. The main functionality that is missing is checking for invalid words.
