I built a "living proof-of-work" profile for builders
Just like Show HN, you showcase your projects with other builders, but your work actually lives forever in a portfolio-like profile. Plus lots of other features like for-you feed, curated collections of projects - private and public, followers and following, threaded posts for showcasing updates to your projects, collaborations and many more.
I built a "living proof-of-work" profile for builders launched on June 18, 2026 with 5 votes, #2,466 of 22,647 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
Post your side projects, see what others are building, and find your people. The feed that's curated for you.
Post your side projects and see what others are building, all in a feed that's curated for you. No more posting the same thing in ten reddit communities. Indie dev building developer tools at night. Ships small, ships often. Made real progress? Don't bury it in an edit. Post it as a new update and thread it onto the original. Followers get notified, and anyone who finds the latest version can trace the whole story back to the first scrappy commit. weekend hack, barely works, but it scratches my own itch. posting it here to keep myself honest. Find the people who get what you're making, and take it from first commit to shipped. The feed, your portfolio, and threads are just the start. Here's…from kritive.com

LinkedIn feels more like Facebook every day — noisy feeds, fake engagement, and everyone shouting into the void. Thats why I used to built a personal microsite on Squarespace and uploaded a video resume to YouTube to stand out - it helped me land interviews and get into Big Tech. But I always wondered: why isn’t there a platform designed to help you stand out like that? So I built OpenSpot: a public, curated platform where you can showcase who you are — with video, audio, and proof of your work. No endless feeds. No humblebrags. Just real people open to new opportunities. We’ve already…
Buildstash2025 · buildstash.com · ▲168Hey HN! We just launched open sign up on Buildstash. It's a platform for managing and sharing software binaries. I'd worked across game dev, mobile apps, and agencies - and found every team had no real system for managing their built binaries. Often just dumped in a shared folder (if someone remembered!). No system for versioning, keeping track of who'd signed off what when, or what exact build had gone to a client, etc. Existing tools out there for managing build artifacts are really focused on package repository management. But miss all the other types of software not being deployed that…
FoundersWall2025 · founderswall.com · ▲35I used to be just a blogger. Now I build internet products, still without code, using AI, design, and taste. I was building in public on X for last 2 months. And honestly, I got tired of how it became performative and started to feel fake. I shipped 2 products. Both failed to get any real traction. I kept sneaking into popular builders’ profiles, hoping to learn how they do it. One thing I kept seeing everywhere, product launch directories. I thought here is the scope. So I started building one. Same UI like the rest. Nothing special. Suddenly one day when it was half built, I realized…
A Directory of 500 HN Side Projects2024 · hnsideprojects.com · ▲15I loved this recent "Show and Tell" thread about side projects posted on HN: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42373343 It inspired me to build a mini directory that aggregates over 500 side projects posted to HN since 2017. You can filter by year, category, or revenue level. Thank you Cursor + Next.js for making this insanely fun to build. Hopefully you discover hidden gems or find inspiration in what the HN community is creating. Happy browsing!

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
