I built an AI powered alternative to Webflow and Framer
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a side project I've been working on that I think could be really useful for a lot of people, especially those in the web development and no-code space. As a developer with over five years of experience, I've done my fair share of freelance web development projects. Initially, I always coded everything from scratch, but as I took on more projects simultaneously, I started using Webflow to save time. While Webflow was helpful, I often found myself wishing for a faster way to set up a website – something that would allow me to start with a template and then…

Hey everyone! I'm really excited to share a side project I've been pouring my heart into lately. As a developer with over five years of experience, I've taken on my fair share of freelance web development projects. In the beginning, I always coded everything from scratch, but as I juggled more projects simultaneously, I started using Webflow to save time. While Webflow was definitely a lifesaver, I couldn't help but wish for an even faster way to set up a website – something that would allow me to start with a template and then easily customize it to my heart's content. The problem with most…
- IBI built an AI-powered website builder–no code required2024 · aiwebsitebuilder.tech · ▲7
Hi HN, I’ve been working on an AI-powered website builder that allows anyone to create a fully functional website in just a few minutes. No coding, no design skills—just a simple, intuitive process with AI handling the heavy lifting. Here’s what you can do with it: • Create a website by entering a name, description, and subdomain. • Use AI to design the site, customize content, and edit sections with simple prompts. • Preview, tweak, and publish your website live instantly. • Download the code for full flexibility if you want to self-host or integrate. It’s still an MVP, and I’ve got lots of…
Scene-AI powered all-in-one web design workspace2024 · scene.io · ▲7Hey everyone! Excited to share Scene with you! We spent hours investigating the intricacies of how people create websites. We focussed primarily on collaboration: what it looks like when teammates with different areas of expertise work together to build a site. We did a deep dive into how designers and marketers work today, and how they envision working in the future. AI will be a big part of that future. But AI is not here to replace the web design process. We know designers don't fully trust creations made entirely by AI—and why should they? Instead, AI is here to lend a helping hand. It…
- BABuilt a Tool to Automate Tedious Tasks with AI, Without Coding2023 · joincoflow.com · ▲26
Hey, Lorenzo here, Started to work on this side-project for a week or so, I’m curious what y’all think! Coflow connects AI to your current platforms and automates any repetitive/manual task without coding. How it works: - Specify the trigger/input the AI should expect - Tell the AI what to do - Specify where to send/store the output - Deploy and let it run Would love your feedback :) Early access: https://www.joincoflow.com/
I dropped to part-time work to develop a Design Copilot for developers2024 · old.reddit.com · ▲6Hey HN! I develop browser extensions, I suck at web design, and I've been exploring AI/LLMs. With my new found free-time since dropping work hours, I've developed a Design Copilot browser extension [0]. It does what it says on the tin - you choose a part of your website and the tool gives you instant expert design feedback - "change this font to that, add this much whitespace, use brighter colours .... etc" The tool is completely 100% free to use, its powered by bringing your own AI API Key, and the current LLM it uses is Google Gemini 1.5 Pro. I've yet to hit the free rate-limit and I…
- IBI built an idea to video app2024 · frameloop.ai · ▲8
Frameloop is an AI-powered video creation and automation tool, that turns ideas into publishable videos within seconds. I've been working on this for past 4 months now, and have few paying customers as well. Most of them are individual creators, and about 20% are businesses. I'd like to focus more on business users going forwards, and am building branded video features for businesses. There are many other tools at this point, but my focus has been to focus on great UX, and giving users a really good first draft, which is easily editable. And I think that focus is what differentiates us. Try…
