I built RSS feeds for podcast guests, not podcasts
Hey, so I built a way to search podcast transcripts by speaker and hence also a way to follow people within them. Poddley let's you search quotes and filter by name and vice versa. You can find ev everything they've said across all their with timestamps and with a read-along UI. You can also RSS feeds for specific people instead subscribing to entire shows. I started this because I wanted to find podcasts where my favorite speakers talked about my favorite things (in my case that was certain longevity-research). However simply searching for stuff like "rapamycin", would yield quotes by 99%…
I built RSS feeds for podcast guests, not podcasts launched on February 9, 2026 with 7 votes, #1,385 of 16,627 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.
What it does
I built Poddley to solve a small but annoying problem: I’d remember a podcast quote and who said it, but not the episode. Transcripts are never indexed by speaker, so it's impossible to find quotes by specific people. Poddley is speaker-centric search engine allowing you to search by person & show. Follow guests, browse timestamped quotes and use per-guest RSS feeds. It’s a POC with ca. 10 major podcasts so far. Curious to hear if this is useful beyond me and would love to hear some feedback:)

I've always wanted to follow podcast guests across shows, not subscribe to entire podcasts. Most of the time the podcasts host guests which I don't really care about. When a guest you follow appears on a random podcast, they will appear as a new entry in the rss-feed for that particular guest. Hopefully some here…
