I built ScoreMeIO to compare and rank any product
Hi HN, I’ve built ScoreMe.io, a tool that helps users score and compare products based on what matters most to them — from features and usability to price or even just vibes. It’s designed to give individuals and teams a simple scoring dashboard where they can: Add and rate products based on custom or AI-generated criteria Save and compare scores in one place Get advice on what to pick (AI-assisted) Share their scored products publicly or keep them private Discover trending products scored by others It started as a personal need to make smarter product choices without spreadsheets. Now it’s…

- SAScore App – Visual Search Tool for Finding Cheaper Alternatives Online2023 · getscore.app · ▲7
Hello HN, I’m Sidwyn and I built a Chrome extension called Score. Score searches the web to find you similar, better options for cheaper. It analyzes product images as you browse, finds visually similar items, and sorts them by price or similarity. This lets you discover affordable options. I started Score when I discovered my friend’s identical TV stand had cost >50% less – and so the idea popped into my head. If I could auto-image search as I browsed the web, I could probably save a ton of money. So I created Score. And I’ve saved a few hundred dollars since. Score works really well for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…
