I made a cheap alternative to college-level math & physics tutoring

In plain words
Explanations is a website offering college-level math and physics tutoring at a fraction of private tutor costs. Students submit questions and receive asynchronous video responses from instructors who draw out solutions in the style of educational platforms like Khan Academy. The service is designed for learners who need more comprehensive help than traditional in-person office hours provide, delivering explanations throughout the week at reduced pricing.

- IWI wished for a site with a growing list of math problems, I built it2024 · teachyourselfmath.app · ▲384
Good math problems are hidden inside textbooks and online documents. To keep up with all the sources in the world is hard. For someone who just wants to continuously solve problems, finding and going through all the sources feels like a hassle. I wished for a website that could just dump all the math problems available in the world out there. And if I could filter the problems by topics, that would be beautiful. teachyourselfmath is a side project that was born out of this need. At its core, it is a math PDF extraction engine. The engine has some machine learning going on behind the scenes…

I strongly believe that every developer is a teacher and likewise. Every time you are asked to help someone else understand your code, you’ll always be grateful to be able to share your own knowledge with others. Explain Code App is the place you can make this happen! I am eager to hear your thoughts on what I have put together so far. Would love to hear your feedback! Let me know if there are any other features you would like for this site, I’m open for ideas and would love the community feedback. Here is the link: https://www.explaincode.app/
