I made a tool to inspect raw pixel buffers
I used to use rawpixels.net for this purpose, but that website suddenly disappeared earlier this year. I threw together this web app as a replacement. It's nothing fancy, but it does what I need, and it might do what you need too. Feel free to suggest a new name. PixPeep is the name I came up with because it lets you peep at pixel buffers, but the name is already used by something else (and it's honestly not that great).
I made a tool to inspect raw pixel buffers launched on April 8, 2024 with 5 votes, #1,789 of 4,347 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 2 years on.
What it does
PixPeep tries to make pixel buffers less opaque. Write your pixel buffer to a file, load it into PixPeep, configure width/height/pixel format/alpha mode, and see what the buffer actually contains at whatever stage in the pipeline they'refrom pixpeep.mort.coffee
